Verkada licence renewals

Three reasons. The real price comes from Verkada and we cannot know it until we ask them. Licences co-term to a single date across your organisation, so a renewal that starts mid-term is pro-rated and a basket total is genuinely indicative. And taking payment against a self-selected part number is how people end up owning a non-returnable licence they cannot use. We would rather spend a day checking than sell you the wrong thing in a minute.

They are Verkada’s own list prices, in dollars, converted to pounds at a fixed rate we print at the bottom of every page along with the date we set it. We show the dollar figure next to the pound one so you can check the sum. What they are not is a quotation — your price is confirmed in writing, and in practice it lands below list.

No. Most people who come here bought their Verkada from someone else, or inherited it with a building. We do need to check one thing before we can promise anything: whether the original deal is registered to another partner, which can affect who is able to place the renewal. We will tell you straight away if it does.

No, and we will not ask for it. The organisation name and your device counts are enough to price a renewal. Anyone who asks you for Command credentials in order to quote a licence is asking for something they do not need.

You lose Command. Device configuration, alarm notifications, event alerts and remote viewing all stop, on a system bought precisely so that somebody would be told when something happens. The cameras carry on recording to a console nobody can use. Verkada warns the Command administrators 30 days before expiry and allows a short grace period after it — that window is a courtesy, not a second deadline, and it is the last cheap moment, because a renewal is priced at the list in force on the day it is placed.
